Beijing, December 15, 2024 — The high-level symposium and launch event for China's National Balance Sheet: 1978–2022, co-hosted by the National Institution for Finance & Development (NIFD), Institute of Finance & Banking (IFB) of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), and China Social Sciences Press, was grandly convened in Beijing.

The event was chaired and addressed by Li Yang, Member of the CASS Presidium and Chairman of NIFD. Zhang Xiaojing, Director of IFB and Head of NIFD, presented the book's key findings.

Liu Shijin, Vice Chairman of the Economic Affairs Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC); Bai Chongen, Dean of Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management; Cao Yuanzheng, former Chairman of Bank of China International Research; Huang Hanquan, President of the Academy of Macroeconomic Research under the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC); Liu Qiao, Dean of Peking University's Guanghua School of Management; and Yang Zhiyong, President of the Chinese Academy of Fiscal Sciences, subsequently delivered keynote speeches.
