Wang Qing is an assistant researcher at the Institute of Finance & Banking, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS). He also serves as a research fellow at the World Inequality Lab (WIL), Paris School of Economics and a core member of the China's Historical Balance Sheet (CHBS) project. His research interests lie in historical wealth and the Great Economic & Financial Divergence. He holds a Ph.D. in Economic History from Renmin University of China.
