Personal profile
Tianpeng Bai holds a Ph.D. in Economic History from Renmin University of China. His main research interests lie in Chinese economic history and development economics, with a particular focus on the history of industrial development in modern China, the history of handicraft economic development such as ancient Chinese porcelain. He is currently working on the study of the history of contemporary China's textile industry and China's local finance in the Qing Dynasty.
