Li Wang is currently an Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of Economics, Kyushu University. His primary research interest lies in long-run economic growth, with a particular focus on the co-evolution of culture and institutions. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Kyushu University. His doctoral dissertation offers a theoretical and historical analysis of how cultural transmission and political centralization jointly shaped divergent development trajectories between China and Europe.
